Android Auto setup guide

Configure, wire, and test the scaffold.

1. Signing

Open the Android Studio project, configure the application ID, and set up a secure signing configuration.

2. Manifest

Configure the Android Auto manifest metadata and supported app category before testing.

3. Services

Connect authenticated chat, places, reservations, speech recognition, and synthesis endpoints.

4. Test

Run unit and instrumentation tests, then validate navigation, permissions, interruptions, failures, and reservation confirmation with Android Auto DHU.
